Imaris
Requirements
1. Operating System:
- MS Windows 10 x64
- Mac OS X 10.9 or later
2. Graphics Card:
3. RAM Memory:
- Sufficient RAM memory to hold image (8 GB absolute minimum)
4. Internet Connection: Only required while evaluating Imaris.
- WARNING - Failure to meet these system requirements may result in unstable or slow operation of the program. On a properly configured computer Imaris should remain fast and interactive at all times.
Installation and Licensing:
- Download the software via one of the links in your Bitplane Download Link email
- Double Click on the installer and follow the guided setup. If you run into the problem with the Gatekeeper on OSX 10.8, read note on http://www.bitplane.com/support/osx-gatekeeper
- Run Imaris
- Click Evaluate (Must have an internet connection)
- Enter Registration ID and Passcode
- Click OK, Then Click OK again
- Software Starts!

To help you get started we recommend that you look at one of the following training documents.
- QuickStart tutorials available under the Help menu in Imaris.
- Context sensitive help documents by right clicking in Imaris.
- Reference manual available under the Help menu in Imaris.

Evaluation License Restrictions:
- Software may be used on 10 (ten) different days (not consecutive) and then will expire.
- 'Imaris Evaluation' will appear in all image views.
- An internet connection is required during evaluation.
- Your computer HostID and/or IP address may be transmitted to Bitplane on each use with evaluation mode.
- All other functions work identically to the unrestricted version.
- 30 day non-restricted licenses are available from your local sales representative upon request.
XTensions
To run our XTension shipped with Imaris, download the MATLAB Compiler Runtime (MCR).
Further you need the Java Runtime Environment JRE 6 or later: http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

Imaris Stitcher
Requirements

- Fully compatible OpenGL graphics card with as much memory as possible on it. (See tested cards here: http://www.bitplane.com/go/support/system-requirements)
- The latest graphics card driver from Nvidia or ATI (not installed by windows)
- Visualization requires at least 1MB VRAM per image, per channel

- Minimum RAM requirements: around ten times the size of the largest volume overlap region.
4. Internet Connection: Only required while evaluating Imaris.
