Microglial Synapse Engulfment

Imaris 11 simplifies microglial synapse engulfment analysis, transforming a complex, time-intensive process into a streamlined workflow. Surface segmentation detects microglia, while automated algorithms quantify engulfed synapses.

Workflows dramatically reduce analysis time while ensuring reproducibility and allowing researchers to compare synaptic engulfment between experimental groups with batch protocols.

Heart Vasculature Morphology

Analyzing heart vasculature is challenging: complex vessel networks require precise segmentation, manual tracing is time-consuming, and comparing cardiac compartments demands consistent methodology. Imaris 11 Workflows integrate machine learning pixel classification for automated vessel segmentation with Filament Tracer for precise quantification of vessel length and diameter, enabling reproducible analysis across multiple heart samples and compartments—transforming complex cardiac analysis into an efficient, shareable protocol.

Single-Cell Analysis of TFEB activation

Quantifying lysosomes and TFEB expression at the single-cell level traditionally requires multiple segmentation steps, making reproducibility challenging. Imaris 11 Workflows streamline this protocol by integrating Surface segmentation of cells and nuclei with Spot detection for lysosomes and TFEB into one automated, reproducible workflow. Statistics are compiled per cell while Batch Workflows enable consistent analysis and direct comparison across experimental groups through Vantage plotting tools.
